Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Menton is one of the communes in the Alpes-Maritimes department. Get a car hire at Menton Downtown and you can easily explore not just Menton but the surrounding communes as well in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region of Southeastern France.

Sitting along the French Riviera, Menton is fondly called “la perle de la France” or The Pearl of France. It is located across the Liguran town Ventimiglia, boasting of warm climates favored by citrus fruits. Menton also features a population base of more than 27,500 people.

Due to its location, there are about at least half a dozen beaches in Menton, all easily reached with a cheap car hire in Menton Downtown. Menton is also famed for its gardens, like the Jardin botanique exotique de Menton, Jardin Serre de la Madonne, and the Fontana Rosa.

Aside from the beaches and the gardens, Menton also has the baroque basilica of Saint Michel Archange, built in 1919 by Lorenzo Lavagna, a Genoease architect, and the Musee Jean Cocteau in the bastion of Menton Port. To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
