I booked a car from

I booked a car from a location which didn’t exist, fault of your website, not eurocar. Confusion not helped by you not passing my phone number to Eurocar. Pick up was booked by your website at a random hotel, not mine, nor the site I was expecting to pick car up at. Eurocar rep was amazing though.

The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Location information for Paphos

Paphos is a district capital in the southwestern portion of Cyprus. There are two spots that are actually called Paphos though: Old Paphos and New Paphos. New Paphos is where the current city is. New Paphos is located along the Mediterranean coast, about 2 hours away by car hire at Paphos Downtown from the biggest port in the island, Limassol.

As a guide, Old Paphos is located close to the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love and beauty, and was used in worshipping the goddess during the ancient times. With a cheap car hire at Paphos Downtown, New Paphos is located about 20 minutes away from Old Paphos.

Paphos is a World Heritage Site. With tourism a large part of the economy, there are several resorts that can be found in the city, including Kato Paphos, Aphrodite Hills, Coral Bay, and Polis Crysoschous. Greatly contributing to the growth of the city is the presence of an international airport in the city.

Many landmarks that can easily be reached with a car rental at Paphos Downtown include Paphos Castle, Saint Solomoni Church, Rock of Aphrodite, the Ayios Neophytos Monastery, the five-domed Ayia Paraskevi church, and Lemba Village, home to local artists.

It's interesting to know that Paphos once had the distinction of being the only place in Cyprus not to suffer from traffic. Modernization crept into the city and with it brought developments that inevitably brought more attention to the city. Such attention brought more people to Paphos and so traffic was introduced into the city. Today, Paphos is conveniently linked by many motorways.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

 What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).

 When will I get a confirmation of my booking?

Most reservations will receive confirmation within minutes after payment takes place. We recommend contacting our Booking Department for last minute reservations (pick-up within 48 hours).
