The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Maribor Airport is located in the north east of Slovenia and is the local airport for the city of Maribor. The airports real name is the Maribor Edvard Rusjan Airport although this is rarely used. A great way to travel to the city or explore the region is by using car rental in Maribor Airport.

The airport is found just south of the city of Maribor and is well connected by a number of good roads. The A1 highway and the H2 road both serve the airport well. Many passengers will use car rental in Maribor Airport as it makes this short journey to the city very fast.

If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
