The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Location information for Sibenik

Sibenik is a historic Croatian town located along where the Adriatic Sea is met by the Krka river. An important center for the county, Sibenik Downtown features a harbor that spurs tourist and industrial activity. You can easily get to the harbor with a car hire at Sibenik Downtown.

Although the oldest native Croatian town along the eastern Adriatic shores, Sibenik was actually founded before the Croats arrived in the area, documented during the reign of the Croatian King Peter Kresimir IV. King Kresimir also used Sibenik as a base so the town is also referred to as Kresimirov grad or Kresimir's city.

Like many towns, Sibenik is easy to explore when you have a cheap car hire at Sibenik Downtown. For instance, you can easily check out the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cathedral of St. James. A Gothic- and Renaissance-styled structure, St. James is the central church of Sibenik.

The St. Nicholas Fortress is made up of four fortresses located by the sea, guarding the entrance to the Sibenik port.  What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
