Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

The most southwesterly point in France, Hendaye is also one of the most popular seaside resorts in the country's Lapurdi province. It is a great place for a peaceful vacation away from the bustles of traditional cities in France. The rest of the town is easily explored, and cheap car hire in Hendaye Downtown is readily available for easy access of different areas around the town.

Hendaye's town square is a great place to start, being home to an iconic 17th century landmark known as the Great Cross of Hendaye. This square is also site for the weekly market, which is a major tourist pull held during Wednesdays.

A car hire in Hendaye Downtown is also ideal when visiting other impressive landmarks like the ruins of the Vauban Fort, which was built way back the 17th century. The site can be found along the promenade of the Bay of Txingudi.

There are many other attractive landmarks to visit around the town, like the Antooine d'Abbadie Chateau, which is known for its seafront location. This Gothic Revival monument is a great example of the best works of the prominent architect, Eugene Viollet-le-Duc. The Casino building is also worth visiting, built way back the late 1800s.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
