Although terminal 1 was indicated

Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Location information for Lorient

Lorient is a seaport and commune in the department of Morbihan in Brittany in the northwestern areas of France. Also written at times as L'Orient, Lorient is sitting along the southern coasts of Brittany at the Atlantic. The rivers Scorff and Blavet flow into the Atlantic Ocean through Lorient.

With an urban area made up of more than 180,000 people, Lorient is the most populous of the communes in Morbihan. You can easily explore the town by using a car hire at Lorient Downtown. Although featuring a large urban base, Lorient is not the department capital. The capital of Morbihan is Vannes.

To get into town, travelers can take the Lorient South Brittany Airport or the Gare de Lorient. Once in Lorient you can use a cheap car hire at Lorient Downtown to get around town. For travelers coming from Lorient, the airport offers direct flights to Paris and Lyon, while the train offers connections to Rennes, Nantes, and Paris.
