Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

The city of Reims lies in northern France and it is mostly known for its Cathedral where several French Kings have been crowned throughout the centuries. The city is also notable for being home to the celebratory wine, Champagne, as well as for being a charming place some of the most beautiful European buildings from the Middle Ages are still standing.

Downtown Reims is the place to be when visiting the city for the first time. You can arrive directly in the downtown area by taking a high-speed train from Paris as well as from other major cities like Nantes, Bordeaux, and Lille. There are also regular trains serving Reims from those cities.

The heart of Reims is easily navigable on foot but if you want to explore other areas, consider car hire in Reims Downtown instead of taking the bus. That way, you can follow your own schedule when exploring the city instead of being pressured to follow bus schedules just to get around.

While in Reims, be sure not to miss the Notre Dame de Reims, the 17th century Town Hall, the Palace of Tau, and the Saint Remi Basilica.  What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

 What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).
