Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Location information for Gare de Lyon-Perrache

The Perrache quarter of Lyon is home to one of the city's main train lines, the Paris-Marseille railway. Known as the Gare de Lyon-Perrache or the Lyon-Perrache Rail Station, it dates back to 1855 when it was constructed by Alexis Cendrier. The terminal is characterized by its large, classic style facade with a double rooftop.

The train station used to boast good views overlooking the city until the dual-carriageway and the transport interchange were constructed in the 1970s. Still, it continues to retain its original features on its platforms and the station front which has the names of the towns being served by the Lyon-Perrache trains.

Car hire in Lyon Rail Station De Perrache is a service offered to passengers using this train station to reach Lyon from other neighboring destinations. Villefranche, Bourgoin-Jallieu, Amberieu, and Saint-Etienne are also served by the trains leaving from this train station.

Buses and taxis are readily available just outside the station but it still makes sense to arrange for cheap car hire in Lyon Rail Station De Perrache if you want to save money during your trip. This historical station is also just a short distance from the Place Bellecour, and it is also just a short drive to the heart of Lyon.
