We have used 121 carhire

We have used 121 carhire for many cars over approx 15 years and the website is easy to use booking the car and for the type and price of cars. However trying to deal with your agents over the phone to change or cancel a booking is 'not' a pleasant experience. It was frustrating speaking with your unfriendly agents who did not try and find a workable solution for the changes we needed to make to our booking due to flight changes. It was easier to just cancel the booking with 121 car hire and book directly with the car company who were wonderful in assisting and making the booking. Your agents over the phone are very autocratic and direct ( borderline being rude ) 121 car hire would benefit in creating a more friendly and helpful service to clients when dealing with your agents over the phone.

Location information for Chios

Chios is the name of the administrative capital of the island of Chios in Greece's eastern Aegean Sea. The town is nestled on the island's eastern coast just adjacent to the coastal town of Cesme in Turkey. Locals also refer to this town as “Kastro” or “Chora” to distinguish it from the island of Chios.

Chios used to be an ancient settlement and it eventually developed into a walled town with a Medieval history to match. The current settlement is a restored version of the older one but built in neoclassical style. As you roam around with car hire in Chios Downtown, you can also notice the outskirts and the quayside areas to be more modern than the center.

The town is forever expanding with many suburbs in its outlying areas. Cheap car hire in Chios Downtown makes sense if you wish to visit those suburban areas when taking a break from the local attractions in the city center.

Downtown Chios is the best place to get started on sightseeing around this city. The area is centered around the castle and the port, and within that section lies several museums, municipal gardens, and the street of Aplotaria where you can go shopping. While in Chios, be sure not to miss other attractions like the Museum of Nea Moni and the Byzantine Museum.

The other cities on the island can be accessed with car rental in Chios Downtown. The island itself is big so a car gives better access to anywhere around it. From Chios, you can consider visiting Pyrgi, which you can reach in about 30 to 35 minutes of driving on the Chiou-Armolion route or on the Vesson-Chalkeiou.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

 What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).
