We have used 121 carhire

We have used 121 carhire for many cars over approx 15 years and the website is easy to use booking the car and for the type and price of cars. However trying to deal with your agents over the phone to change or cancel a booking is 'not' a pleasant experience. It was frustrating speaking with your unfriendly agents who did not try and find a workable solution for the changes we needed to make to our booking due to flight changes. It was easier to just cancel the booking with 121 car hire and book directly with the car company who were wonderful in assisting and making the booking. Your agents over the phone are very autocratic and direct ( borderline being rude ) 121 car hire would benefit in creating a more friendly and helpful service to clients when dealing with your agents over the phone.

Location information for Lefkada

The city of Lefkada lies on the island with which it shares the same name. This city has the characteristics of a traditional Greek town but it also offers modern facilities for the convenience of its residents and visitors. Lefkada also offers picturesque venues like squares and churches.

When visiting the island of Lefkada, most travelers are welcomed in the city first from other Greek islands. The city is located about 20 minutes from the Aktion National Airport, the main air travel gateway to the island. The city's downtown area can be accessed easily by bus from the airport.

To make the most of your stay, arrange for car hire in Lefkada Downtown so you have a means for getting around on your own. With a car, you can visit the west coast of Lefkada to see the Porto Katsiki beach, a famous holiday destination on the island. You can also visit the trench which the Corinthians dug in the 7th century BC.

Lefkada's main road is the Greek National Road 42, and together with two other routes, you can easily access other places in the island with cheap car hire in Lefkada Downtown. Visit Nidri and drive 20 kilometers south of that town to find the Vasiliki resort if you want to enjoy windsurfing.

You can pick up your car rental in Lefkada Downtown and take it with you to a car ferry to Ithaca, Meganissi, or Kefalonia if you want to go on a day trip. If you want to stay on the island, consider visiting Cape Lefkada, which is nestled south of the Vasiliki resort.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
