One of the busiest airports in South Asia is the Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, the main air travel gateway to India. As much as 20 million passengers are handled by this modern airport every year, with most of them traveling to the city of New Delhi which lies 14 miles south of the air hub.

The Delhi Airport connects India to the rest of the world through Terminal 2 where all international flights via 35 airlines are served. Domestic flights are handled in Terminal 1 with its three gates. Air India and Indian Airlines are the two major air carriers providing most of the services at the airport.

Buses can be found outside Terminal 2's arrivals hall and there are also taxis linking the airport to the heart of Delhi. Car hire in Delhi Airport can also be preferred if you want your own mode of transportation, but booking in advance is recommended. Transfers to each of the terminals are provided by a free shuttle.

Both terminals offer cheap car hire in Delhi Airport and you can find them just outside the customs area. Services like internet access, currency exchange, and basic banking facilities are also found in both terminals. Duty-free shopping is available in the departures and arrivals areas, and the options include designer brands and specialty products.

Restaurants and snack bars can be found inside the departures and arrivals sections of all terminals but Terminal 3 offers more choices when it comes to cafes, bars, and fast-food options. If you need car rental in Delhi Airport, you have a choice between chauffeur-driven and self-driven vehicles.

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
