The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Founded by the Romans, Alba's center is still located within ancient Roman walls. An entry point to the Langhe, Alba is best known for having some the finest wines and most delicious truffles. Arranging for car hire in Alba Downtown is a great way to experience this wonderful region.

The best way to tour around Alba is by cheap car hire in Alba Downtown, and being located just off of the E74 makes for a convenient way to get both in and out of the city. As well, the SR29 leads right out if the city going north towards Torino.

Most of Alba's hotels are villas aimed at romantic holidays for sipping elegant wine and eating delicious food. Bollito Misto and Fritto Misto are two specialty dishes of the region, and definitely try some of the famous wines. There are a few shops and markets for buying some great gifts and souvenirs.

Booking car rental in Alba Downtown allows you to spend time in Asti, using Alba as your base. Asti is packed with medieval sights, and the narrow streets of its medieval city are home to magnificent churches, palaces and ancient buildings. There are also a number of museums in Asti.

Touring the Langhe region is a must for all wine connoisseurs as well as amateur wine drinkers. It is home to a great number of famous wine producers and is set in some beautiful countryside hills. A wine tasting tour is an excellent way to spend your time in Alba.

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
