The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

This is a great location in the most visited part of Italy. Just 45 minutes east is the city of Florence with its grandeur and architectural marvels and 45 minutes west is the town Pisa, with its leaning tower. Taking a car rental in Empoli Downtown is the ideal option for seeing the city of Empoli and these nearby famous attractions.

Empoli is easy to get to on the main autostradda from Pisa, which passes close by. It's also on the main rail line from Pisa to Firenze, and is a junction for the line south to Siena. This is the most exciting and attractive part of Italy where the Tuscany landscape has inspired artists for centuries.

However there are sights worth seeing in Empoli before making the longer trips out to Florence, which is always signposted as Firenze. The whole area is steeped inn history which features battles between factions such as the Florentines and the people from Siena.

It's by no accident that many of the Tuscan towns are walled and are built on the tops of hills. All these great sights can be seen at leisure using the car hire in Empoli Downtown. The Piazza Farinata degli Uberti is one of the most imposing buildings of Empoli.

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

What is a worry-free label?
