The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Location information for Monza

Monza city and administrative district is on the Lambro River, within the Lombardy area of Italy. It is about 15kms north-northeast from Milan. This city is the capital of both the Monza and Brianza provinces. It is also famous for its Grand Prix circuit, called the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. However, if you feel like a bit of racing yourself, there is always the option of a sporty car rental in Monza Downtown.

Monza is accessible via many motorways, including the A4-E64, A52 ( the North Ring road of Milan) and the A51 (the Eastern Ring road for Milan). The main State Road links Monza to Lecco and Sondrio. By September 2011 there should be a two kilometer tunnel through the city, alleviating central traffic problems. Alternatively, for non drivers, the Monza railway station will access most nearby major towns and cities.

Monza has a strong economy of industrial and administrative businesses, supporting a strong publishing trade and textile industry. It is also well-known for the Romanesque-Gothic Duomo of Saint John. In this Romanesque-Gothic Duomo visitor can see Theodelinda's Greek-cross oraculum, a famous chapel of prayer. Car hire in Monza Downtown is recommended, as many places are hard to access with public transportation.

With a cheap car hire in Monza Downtown, visitors can see what they want, when they want to.  What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
