The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Tortona is a town, in Piemonte within the Alessandria Province in Italy. It is situated right on the Scrivia bank, between the Marengo plain and the Ligurian Apennines foothills. It was called Derthona in ancient times and this city is one of the oldest colonies that was under Roman rule.

It is in the western section of the Po Valley, right on the main road that links Placentia (Piacenza) and Genua (Genoa). This city was originally founded around 118-123 BC, placed at where the great roads meet at the junction, nowadays called the Via Julia Augusta. The road links and other smaller roads make car rental in Tortona Downtown an ideal way to tour the area.

This area has plenty of history, much of which can still be seen today. Roman remains are throughout the area. One very good site is known as being the Mausoleum for the Roman Emperor Maiorianus. What do I need to do when picking up a car?
