The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Location information for Turin

The large northern Italian town of Turin is located in the far northwest of Italy and one of the usual transit point for travellers who are on their way to the French Alps. Turin is a beautiful city with a mountainous backdrop that is quite often overlooked by travellers who only stop off for a day or so before heading to the Alps.

Travellers can get to Turin a number of ways. The main airport is located to the north of the town and can be reached by taking a 15 minute drive. A number of full service carriers operate to Caselle Airport from major cities in Europe, including Air France, Alitalia, British Airways and Air Italy.

Turin's city center can be comfortably navigated by foot, while other public transport options include buses, trams and taxis. Taxis can be expensive as it is normal for the meter to start when the phone call is made to the taxi company. A good way to get around is to drive yourself, and car hire in Turin Downtown can be found from numerous providers.
