The instructions for pick up

The instructions for pick up should have said to call the staff for a pick up as it was a long walk in the heat and poorly sign posted. When we got there they said we should have called them for a lift!

Known by the full name of Perugia-Sant'Egidio International Airport, Perugia Airport is the main international airport giving access to the wider Italian region of Umbria. The airport is located just outside the small town of Sant'Egidio but is the primary airport for Perugia, the capital of Umbria.

Few of the world's most beautiful travel destinations are so well suited to exploration by road. With cheap car hire at Perugia Airport, both holidaymakers and businesspeople can easily travel across the striking Umbrian countryside. It is easy to visit the many scenic hilltop towns. Getting to the region's major cities, is also easy, whether you choose to meander along the country roads or brave the autostrada.

Perugia Airport is not a very busy facility. It is open from 6am to 10pm. During the day, a small number of regional airlines provides links to airports like Milan's Malpensa and London's Stansted. There is also a service linking Perugia to Trapani, in Sicily. Despite the relatively low number of flights, Perugia provides strong connections to Milano, from where a much larger number of flights is available.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

 What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).
