Manila Airport also goes by the name of Manila Ninoy Aquila International Airport. It is the main international air hub in the Philippines, as well as the major gateway for tourists and business travellers coming to Manila. Manila Airport is a public airport that was opened to the public in 1937.

Both international and domestic passenger services are offered at Manila Airport. This is the hub airport for the flag carrier Philippine Airlines, but a number of other leading international airlines also operate flights out of Manila Airport. There are three terminals at the airport. All international flights on foreign carriers depart from either terminals one or three, whilst terminal two is designated for domestic flights and flights on Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific.

All of the terminals at Manila Airport boast excellent facilities. The terminals have recently been renovated, and now possess some wonderful restaurants, shops and lounge areas. Car hire in Manila Airport is also on offer to passengers at the terminal.

Passengers have a good variety of options when it comes to accessing the airport. A shuttle bus runs between Manila's downtown area and the international passenger terminals. There are also taxis, but by far the best way to get around is the cheap car hire in Manila Airport.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

 What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
