Location information for Llandudno

Llandudno is a seaside town on the coast of North Wales, and is spread around a bay situated between the Great Orme and Little Orme headlands. Llandudno Downtown is behind the two-mile-long promenade and is focused around Mostyn Street and Mostyn Broadway. Several car rental in Llandudno Downtown offices are in the district.

In the downtown area there are lots of pubs, amusement arcades and restaurants. The historic North Shore pier, built in 1878 and 1,230 feet long, is a must visit location with a bar, a café, amusements, fairground rides, souvenir and candy shops, and a Punch and Judy show.

Drivers leaving the resort in their car rental in Llandudno Downtown can make their way slowly round the Parade esplanade. On one side are the clear waters of the Irish Sea and on the other, the majestic mountains of Snowdonia. Caernarfon Castle, Beaumaris Castle, Conwy Castle and Denbigh Castle are all within a short distance of Llandudno.

Caernarfon is probably the most famous of the castles as it was the setting for the Prince of Wales' investiture in 1969. The 14th century castle's majestic crenellated walls and turrets tower over the town of Caernarfon, but the interior of the complex is partially in ruins.

Caernarfon abuts the west side of Snowdonia. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
