Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

Boise Airport, sometimes referred to as Gowen Field, is a general aviation airport that is shared with the US military. It is conveniently located just three miles outside Boise city itself. A number of airlines have flights from the airport including both scheduled and charter flights. The collection point is situated just outside the Baggage Claim area. However, visitors should note that the Alamo car hire firm is located offsite.
