Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Excellent - the website had

Excellent - the website had been sluggish and repeated attempts to make the same booking resulted in 3 bookings. But the team quickly confirmed they had cancelled two, and the actual booking all worked fine once we got to Orlando.

The only minor issue has

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

Allentown is the biggest of the three cities that make up the Lehigh Valley; it has a population of just over 100,000 people. There is an excellent interstate freeway system close by; I-78 and I-476 connect the city to other destinations in the northeastern US. In fact, Allentown is an excellent base to have in order to explore the region.

The cities of Philadelphia, Harrisburg and New York City are all within 90 miles of Allentown. Therefore, budget car rental in Allentown Downtown is an excellent way to explore the region. It's easy to get here; the city has an international airport only a few miles away. In addition Greyhound and Trans-Bridge Lines offer longer distance buses from New York, Philadelphia and Atlantic City.

LANTA manage an excellent public transportation system throughout the Lehigh Valley region. However, many visitors find that car rental in Allentown Downtown gives visitors the opportunity to explore independently and comfortably. Additionally, those areas not served by public transport are now accessible.
