Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Excellent - the website had

Excellent - the website had been sluggish and repeated attempts to make the same booking resulted in 3 bookings. But the team quickly confirmed they had cancelled two, and the actual booking all worked fine once we got to Orlando.

The only minor issue has

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

Aspen, Colorado, is a high-class ski resort, known to attract celebrities from across the US and the world. Most visitors arrive in Aspen by air; Aspen-Pitkin County Airport is only a few miles from Downtown Aspen. However, Colorado State Highway 82 passes through Aspen from east to west. During winter, the western entrance to Aspen is closed, meaning that there is only one route in and out of the city.

Bus services within Aspen are free, but bus travelers to the nearby community of Snowmass have to pay. Most visitors to Aspen can afford to rent their own vehicle and car rentals in Aspen Downtown offer a wide range. On some mountain roads driving is challenging, so it's important to choose the most suitable car rental in Aspen Downtown.

Skiers will enjoy the slopes around Aspen, whatever their ability. There are three additional ski areas; Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands and Snowmass are accessible by budget car rental in Aspen Downtown.  What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).
