Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Excellent - the website had been sluggish and repeated attempts to make the same booking resulted in 3 bookings. But the team quickly confirmed they had cancelled two, and the actual booking all worked fine once we got to Orlando.

The only minor issue has

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

The city of Chandler, Arizona, is located in the large urban area that also contains Mesa, Phoenix and Glendale, among others, and so budget car rental in Chandler Downtown is a great way to visit all of these exciting cities. It is also close to the Tonto National Forest which offers some great outdoor activities.

It is a relatively small city compared to its neighbors, but has regular performances at the Chandler Center for Arts, is the home of the Arizona Railway Museum and also has an annual Ostrich Festival, which has ostrich races, various stalls selling food and souvenirs and a parade.

Use the car rental in Chandler Downtown to visit the fun Golfland Sunsplash park which is located close by in Mesa. It is a large water park that is full of fun pools, slides and other water apparatus for all the family. The smaller children can enjoy their own swimming areas while the bigger kids can make more of a splash with the slides and wave pools.

Phoenix is also nearby and can be driven to with ease by using the available car rentals in Chandler Downtown. It is a cultural city with much to see and do, including some great museums. The Phoenix Art Museum mostly displays works by artists from the area, while the Barry Goldwater Collection in the Heard Museum has around 500 kachina' (a spirit) dolls from the local Hopi tribe.

Also in Phoenix, you can enjoy a night at the theater. Eat out at one of the city's restaurants beforehand, which offer both American-style and international foods, especially Mexican. See a show at one of the theaters, some of which have ballet and opera, or go out to see one of the live bands.

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?
