Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Excellent - the website had

Excellent - the website had been sluggish and repeated attempts to make the same booking resulted in 3 bookings. But the team quickly confirmed they had cancelled two, and the actual booking all worked fine once we got to Orlando.

The only minor issue has

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

Flagstaff is the gateway to the Grand Canyon from the south and is all about the outdoors. It sits at altitude near the center of Arizona and is beautifully backed by the San Francisco Peaks. You can pick up car rental in Flagstaff Downtown and easily explore this fantastic part of the country.

The town is vibrant and picturesque and is one of the most pleasant places to be in Arizona. It is sad that many tourists simply bypass it from Las Vegas to get straight to the Grand Canyon, but, in reality, it makes a fine base for exploring one of America's most spectacular regions with car rentals in Flagstaff Downtown.

The downtown area is fairly compact and features a typical grid system with the huge Northern Arizona University campus just to the south. There are some fairly decent shopping options in downtown, while outside town are some of the most outstanding landscapes of anywhere.

The Grand Canyon is of course the big deal around here and you can get there in about two hours from the town with budget car rental in Flagstaff Downtown. It is nice to se any time of year, but gets particularly chilly during the winter. Also near to town is the lonely Meteor Crater in nearby Winslow.

Also near to Flagstaff Downtown is a ski resort, while other popular outdoor activities include whitewater rafting and hiking. Popular places for walking are the Petrified Forest, to the east, and the Tonto National Forest, to the south with car rental in Flagstaff Downtown.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).
