Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Excellent - the website had

Excellent - the website had been sluggish and repeated attempts to make the same booking resulted in 3 bookings. But the team quickly confirmed they had cancelled two, and the actual booking all worked fine once we got to Orlando.

The only minor issue has

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

New Haven, Connecticut is a small city with a population of 124,000 people. However, the Greater New Haven area is inhabited by many more. Sometimes known as the Elm City, there are many points of interest here and there is no better way to explore than with car rental in New Haven Downtown.

The best place to start is New Haven's historical center, New Haven Green. This was where the city was first established in the 17th century and is an official National Historical Landmark. Nowadays, the green is a typical city park, sometimes hosting festivals and other events.

New Haven is home to Yale University and many of the USA's most important public figures have studied here. One of the most recent notable alumni was the former president George W Bush. Visitors who visit Yale might be interested in some of the museums and collections, not to mention the architecture. Yale is located in the downtown area.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).

 What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).
