I was hesitant to book

I was hesitant to book a car from Unirent as I have no previous experience with them, and I prefer to use well known car hire companies because of issues I have had using less well known companies in the past. It worked out fine however because all my dealings at the airport where with Eurocar and I don’t really understand the reasoning behind the Unirent brand especially as I was in two minds not to book a car from them and choose and alternative brand instead.

For a first timer renting

For a first timer renting a car oversea, it can be confusing to me that there are 2 to 3 "companies" handling the reservation. After I had reserved online, I received an email from cse.easyterra.com. giving me voucher from car rental schiphol with alamo logo. And then there was the reservation team emailing me from cse.easyterra.com that sign off with Auto Europe. I had reserved with excess cover and when I had reached the airport alamo counter, they also ask if I needed additional insurance. It was overwhelming to me that there is multiple point of contact and the decision making was made difficult by the reservation excess cover and the point of collection insurance coverage question. I wish there is only 1 point of contact in the email leading up to collection of car. Otherwise, there better be an introduction of the companies involved in the first reservation email. The excess coverage also need to be sorted out properly. Service over profit is the way to go, please. Thank you.

Downtown Vilnius is a district located in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. The city is the most popular tourist city in Lithuania and serves as the country's center of commerce. It was also named Europe's Capital of Culture in 2009. The downtown district is a popular place for tourists to stay and plenty of accommodation is located here.

There are many offices where visitors can arrange car hire in Downtown Vilnius around the district or if it is more convenient, it is possible to book online prior to departure. Visitors to the city will find a huge array of tourist attractions which will keep them busy throughout their stay.

The churches and traditional Jewish buildings of the Old Town are best explored on foot. The area is full of cafes and restaurants where it is possible to sit and relax whilst watching the world go by. Gediminas Castle was built in the 14th century and is must for visitors in Vilnius. There are also a number of museums such as the Museum of Genocide Victims and the Lithuanian National Museum which are worth a visit.

Those wishing to take their cheap car hire in Downtown Vilnius further afield may like to explore the nearby town of Trakai which has a number of lakes and green areas and two castles. A trip to Minsk also makes for a great day out.
