I was hesitant to book

I was hesitant to book a car from Unirent as I have no previous experience with them, and I prefer to use well known car hire companies because of issues I have had using less well known companies in the past. It worked out fine however because all my dealings at the airport where with Eurocar and I don’t really understand the reasoning behind the Unirent brand especially as I was in two minds not to book a car from them and choose and alternative brand instead.

For a first timer renting

For a first timer renting a car oversea, it can be confusing to me that there are 2 to 3 "companies" handling the reservation. After I had reserved online, I received an email from cse.easyterra.com. giving me voucher from car rental schiphol with alamo logo. And then there was the reservation team emailing me from cse.easyterra.com that sign off with Auto Europe. I had reserved with excess cover and when I had reached the airport alamo counter, they also ask if I needed additional insurance. It was overwhelming to me that there is multiple point of contact and the decision making was made difficult by the reservation excess cover and the point of collection insurance coverage question. I wish there is only 1 point of contact in the email leading up to collection of car. Otherwise, there better be an introduction of the companies involved in the first reservation email. The excess coverage also need to be sorted out properly. Service over profit is the way to go, please. Thank you.

Vilnius airport is located just less than 6km from Lithuana's capital city. The International airport is the biggest civil airport in the country and is noted for its original soviet design. The architecture features workers, soldiers and aviators, and the interior décor features bay leaves, wreaths and stars. The airport provides flights to 27 European destinations and the nearby Kaunas Airport is the country's main international airport, flying to worldwide destinations.

The airport comprises a single terminal measuring 180,000 square feet, with plenty of facilities for passengers. There are several airport lounges, banking facilities, bar, restaurants and a whole host of duty free shops selling perfume, confectionary and alcohol and cut prices.

It is possible to arrange car hire in Vilnius Airport at one of the desks in the Ground Transportation Hall. Visitors can choose from any of the famous car hire brands such as Hertz or Avis. It is possible to organize a car on arrival, or alternatively cheap car hire in Vilnius Airport can be booked online before departure.
