Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Excellent - the website had

Excellent - the website had been sluggish and repeated attempts to make the same booking resulted in 3 bookings. But the team quickly confirmed they had cancelled two, and the actual booking all worked fine once we got to Orlando.

The only minor issue has

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

Grand Island is a city near the I-80 in central/southeast Nebraska and is the seat of Hall County. It is not the most happening town in the state but has budget car rental in Grand Island Downtown and also comes with cheap hotels and motels.

It is best known for its shopping if for anything and the Conestoga Mall adds further appeal to the historic downtown area. The latter also has many shops, antique stores and restaurants. The city also has some interesting museum, including the Stuhr Museum, which tells all about the original pioneers of the state.

Grand Island is also known for the Nebraska State Fair; a fun place to head for the family with car rental in Grand Island Downtown. The best way to get in is to fly to nearby Central Nebraska Regional Airport, which receives flights from Las Vegas, Kansas City, and Phoenix.

You can also get in by train or by long distance bus, after which you can have car rentals in Grand Island Downtown and get out to explore the county and region. To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
