Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Excellent - the website had been sluggish and repeated attempts to make the same booking resulted in 3 bookings. But the team quickly confirmed they had cancelled two, and the actual booking all worked fine once we got to Orlando.

The only minor issue has

The only minor issue has to do with the windshield of the car. What ever cleaning product that was used was vey greasy and difficult to see thru the steaks. First stop was the Store for some windex wipes. Everything else was perfect

This small airport is just a few miles to the northeast of the town of Grand Island in Nebraska and is a regional airport with minimal service. It is the best way to get to Grand Island, however, and has car rental in Grand Island Airport.

The airport receives flights from Phoenix, Las Vegas, Kansas City, and Denver and comes with minimal facilities. There are a few vending machines here and a lounge, along with budget car rental in Grand Island Airport. It is nice and close to the downtown area of Grand Island, however, and the drive should only take 15 minutes or so via US-30.

People fly here to be positioned in the center/south of Nebraska rather than purely for the town of Grand Island, which itself is not much to write home about. Flying definitely beats bussing it or taking the train as the town is quite remote. The best thing about the place is the shopping, with many antique shops and some excellent shopping malls. The Conestoga Mall is the top shopping experience in the town.

Grand Island also has many restaurants and fast food joints, although attractions are a bit thin on the ground. You could check out the Stuhr Museum, though, with car rentals in Grand Island Airport. It is in downtown and gives and insight into the early Nebraska folk.

Other places in the region to see with budget car rental in Grand Island Airport include nearby Hastings and Wood River, plus you could easily head over to Lincoln via the I-80.
